The practice of discussing in advance the proposals that will be made at a meeting. In Japanese companies, decision making generally requires unanimous agreement, hence the necessity of maneuvering behind the scenes to reach a consensus beforehand.

先週の記事（2週連続30回目の採用記事）

Foodstuffs and garments come to my mind when I hear of Viet Nam, but they don't leave a strong impression. I have been here for 10 years, and little has changed.


Before pushing "Viet Nam Value", which direction would Viet Nam like to take? Heavy or light industry, travel or agriculture? I have not been able to find an answer.

息子が粘土で作ったウルトラマンだそうです↓

ラジコンヘリ

今朝、妻子で市場に買い物に出かけたそうですが、その際にラジコンのヘリコプターを購入したとの事。手のひらに乗るサイズで室内でも飛ばすことが出来るそう。以前に比べて3分の1の値段になったとか。これはパパの方が楽しみかも。

今週の記事（3週連続31回目の採用）

今週は31回目の記事採用です。

I married a Vietnamese woman in 2004 and have been living peacefully with her – and a son. Before marriage, we had been going together for two years. During this term, many troubles arose because of cultural differences.


For example, in my country, people usually go drinking with colleagues, bosses or subordinates after working hours to talk about the many issues happening in the company. This can be a profitable communication method in Japan, but my wife couldn't understand it.

What did we do to understand each other? First, we learned the other's language and were able to scrutinise the true meanings of what was being said. In addition, I sometimes take my wife to go to Japan to experience life there.

I think discussions are the only way that to bridge the gap between mixed couples. They should explain things step by step. My wife managed to make sense of inexplicable things for me. Now I can understand most things that are happening around me in Viet Nam.

パクるの語源

ドイツ語の「packen」（掴む）が語源と言う説が有力とか。

香港のドラマ

最近夜の8時台によく香港のドラマを妻が見ていますが、そのドラマの主題歌がどう聞いても小沢健二さんの「ぼくらが旅に出る理由」という曲に聞こえます。

またパクッたの？中国人。

先生頑張って！

ちょっと厳しいことを言ってしまった息子の幼稚園の先生にお詫びと激励のメールをしておきました。先生に伝わるといいけど。

ベトナムには先生の日というのがありますけど、先生とは絶対的な存在！日本の先生方も頑張って下さい！
